Bio —
Santa Seveso was born in Saronno on September 26, 1969, and lives and works in Milan.
She graduated in Decoration in the 1986/1987 academic year from the Istituto Statale d'Arte per l'Arredamento in Cantù (Como) and in Decoration in the 1991/1992 academic year from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts (Milan).
For fifteen years, she has restored frescoes, stone artifacts, and graffiti in churches, period villas, and castles, as well as using decorative mural techniques, trompe l'oeil, murals, and eco-friendly decorative plaster.
She has worked with major companies including Rinnovarte s.r.l. of Como and A.R.A. s.r.l. of Milan. Cooperative Archaeology of Florence (Palazzo Borromeo Arese in Milan, Castello di Masino in Turin, Church of San Bernardino alle Ossa in Milan, Bagatti Valsecchi Museum in Milan, Visconti Castle in Pavia, Villa Nobel in Sanremo (Imperia), Basilica of Santa Maria del Carmine in Florence, etc.)
She has restored antiques and modern art for the Galleria Colombari, the Antonio Mazzotta Foundation, the Museo della Permanente, and the Palazzo dell'Arte della Triennale in Milan (pieces by Lucio Fontana, models of the Centre Georges Pompidour, models by Aldo Rossi, Enzo Mari, W. Dresser, Fornasetti, etc.)
She has worked on eco-decorations for interiors using innovative materials in homes, shops, and trade fair stands (Expobenessere 2003 (Milan), Essere e Benessere 2004 (Varese), and Natura Design (Milan).
She has collaborated with architectural firms on trompe l'oeil, new frescoes, and Interior and exterior wall decorations for villas, restaurants, shops, private homes.
Her first group exhibitions began in 2002. Since 2012, she has dedicated herself solely to her artistic research with contemporary works of art, and since 2014, she has been using recycled industrial plastic materials.
In 2015, she held her first solo exhibition at the MAP Museo Arte Plastica in Castiglione Olona, Varese. The museum acquired the work "Candy Skkinnhand Giorgio Bonafè."
In 2023, the "Monograph Works 1999-2022" was published by Giorgio Mondadori.
In 2026, the MACS in Catania acquired the work "Candy Skkinnhand Orange."
